The Trees 4 Sustainability 2025 has carried the campaign slogan “PUNO ang SOLUSYON” as a continuous effort to amplify the importance of trees and forest conservation in the Philippines. T4S 2025 held its annual Tree Planting – Tree Nourishing Activity on August 16, 2025 at the Siniloan Forest Park, Brgy. Magsaysay, Siniloan, Laguna. The momentous event was attended by 486 participants from various institutions, public sector representatives, cause-oriented organizations, companies, and individuals who share the same environmental advocacy and commitment. Participants arrived and confirmed their registration at the UP Laguna-Quezon Land Grant. Shuttles were dispatched by batch to drop off participants at the entrance of the Siniloan Forest Park. To ensure safety, Marshals from Brgy. Magsaysay were on standby for crowd control and traffic management.
After a short trail marked by trail flags, the participants were welcomed by their assigned facilitators and the program host, Ms. Brenda Hazel Butardo, at the assembly area. The program started with an invocation led by Ms. Trisha Catapang and followed by the singing of the national anthem. The welcoming remarks were delivered by Kagawad Joseph Aniciete representing the local community beneficiaries of T4S 2025. This was followed by a solidarity message from Quanta Paper Corporation represented by Mr. Jonathan Tilar. To ensure that everyone is prepared, a safety briefing was also delivered by Mr. Gordon Redor of the Siniloan Laguna Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office. Executive Director, Mr. June Alvarez also delivered a short demonstration on how to plant the seedlings the right way to ensure its survival. Lastly, the event was also graced by the presence of Mayor Patrick Ellis Z. Go who welcomed the participants warmly in the Municipality. During the actual tree planting, a total of 2,200 Molave Seedlings were planted and will be nourished for three (3) years to ensure its growth and survival. 920 Seedlings were already adopted by the T4S 2025 Sponsors and Donors while the remaining seedlings will be open for adoption.
T4S 2025 Orchard and Garden Sponsors and Donors were awarded with a plaque of appreciation recognizing their support and commitment to contribute towards a greener future. This year’s Orchard Sponsor and Major Partner since 2019 is Quanta Paper Corporation and Ecohygiene Institutional Sales Corp., represented by their President and CEO Mr. Steven Leung. King Chef and Authenquick Foods Corporation are also major partners for T4S 2025 as they pledged in nourishing 83 Molave Trees.
