SCP4LL Capacitate PCOs and Government Officers

The Capacity Building on Sustainable Consumption and Production (SCP) for Pollution Control Officers Among Selected Business and Government Agencies Along the Laguna Lake Basin Project or SCP4LL is set to capacitate Pollution Control Officers and Government Officers through the conduct of series of trainings from July 2015 to March 2016 on SCP Concepts, principles and Tools which can be used by their respective organizations and agencies on sustainability programs.
The first set of training was held on September 30 – October 1 2015 at the EPWMD Conference Room , QC with more than 40 attendees representing the private and the government sector. Prior to this training an Inception Workshop was held with the attendance of the representatives from the Office of the Presidential Adviser on Environmental Protection (OPAEP), PENRO-Laguna & Rizal, DENR-EMB Region IVA, DENR-EMB-NCR, Laguna Lake Development Authority (LLDA) , Pollution Control Association of the Philippines, Inc (PCAPI) , EPWMD-QC and DENR-NCR on August 26, 2015 at the LLDA Ecology Building.
The SCP4LL is organized by the Philippine Center for Environmental Protection and Sustainable Development, Inc, and National Ecolabelling Programme-Green Choice Philippines with the assistance of the Green Purchasing Network Japan and Japan Fund for Global Environment and in partnership with the OPAEP, LLDA, DENR- Region IV A & NCR, EMB VIA and NCR.
